During the second visit, we fill in a medical history questionnaire together. Then your teeth and oral mucosa are examined. The temporomandibular joints are examined, and your face and profile are assessed.
Next, photographic documentation of your teeth and face is taken. These photographs are a mandatory part of the medical records.
A cephalometric X-ray of the head and a panoramic X-ray are taken. Impressions of your teeth are also made. These impressions are used to obtain plaster models, which serve for preparing the treatment plan and as record models.
In some cases, specific additional examinations are needed. For example, a 3D CT scan of the jaw, a skeletal scintigraphy, a neurological examination, etc.
